2 big events in E3

みなさんこんにちは。来週は英語村で大きなイベントが2つあります。
まず、
来週１７日月曜日はザ・リッツ・カールトン大阪総支配人のオリオル・モンタル氏をお招きして講演イベントを行います。ホテル業、ホスピタリティについて世界的に有名なリッツホテルの総支配人からのお話を聞ける機会はめったにありません！！
ぜひお見逃しなく！！

来る10月21日金曜日、ハロウィンコスチュームコンテストを開催します。
ただいま英語村ではイベントに参加していただける学生を大募集中です。
かわいいだけじゃない、怖くて恐ろしくて醜いコスチュームを着て賞金を狙ってください。
イベント内容や賞金についての詳細は英語村スタッフにお尋ねください。

Hello everyone! We have two big events at e-cube next week.

First, on Monday next week, the 17th, we will welcome the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, Oriol Montal. Please take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn about the hotel industry and hospitality straight from the General Manager of Osaka’s world famous Ritz-Carlton.

Also, the wait is over! It is that time of the year again!! Next Friday, October 21st, we will hold our annual Halloween Costume Contest. We are currently looking for students able to participate in this event. To get a CD card prize (1st place – 30,000 yen, 2nd place 20,000 yen, 3rd place 10,000 yen), please put on a creative costume, scary and ugly is BEST; you do not have to look cute! For more detailed information about this event or the prizes, please ask one of e-cube’s lovely staff. Feel free to invite your friends and come in a group. We look forward to seeing you there!

A big week in E3

We are planning many events for lunch break next week at e-cube.

First, on October 11th, a Kinki University student will host a table tennis event. Let’s get active this fall and have fun using our bodies and minds to play ping pong in English!

E-cube is proud to welcome guest speakers from a US Consulate in Japan this week, Wednesday, September 28th. A vice council and another consulate staff member will talk about American visas and working at a consulate

This lecture event will be a great chance to get valuable information, and, of course, will be in English.

Welcome back to school!!

みなさん、Welcome back to school!!　夏休みはいかがでしたか？？

さて、９月と１０月の英語村はたくさんのイベントやみなさんの大好きなハロウィンのアクティビティー等楽しいことが盛りだくさんです。

まず１０月１７日までのアクティビティーテーマは「色々な職業や就職について」です。
この期間のアクティビティーは、色々な仕事について学べるだけでなく、近畿大学の先生による英語での履歴書の書き方、面接について等、就職活動をがんばっている近畿大学生を応援するものがいっぱいです！！

また、この期間中には色々な業種のゲストスピーカーをお招きしての講演会も行います。

憧れの職業についている方々から直接お話しが聞けたり質問できる機会です。　イベント前に随時ブログで詳細をアップしますのでぜひチェックしてお見逃しなく！！

１０月１８日から２７日まではハロウィンをテーマにしたアクティビティーを行い
ます。
２１日の金曜日にはハロウィンコスチュームコンテストのイベントもあります。　　　　
ぜひハロウィンコスチュームを着こなして賞金を狙ってください！！

あまり日本ではポピュラーではないハロウィンですが、英語村でみんなで楽しみましょう。

We hope you all had a fun summer vacation!

E-cube will have many fun activities and events this and next month (September and October), such as our very popular Halloween season activities.

First, our activity theme until October 17th will be Jobs and Careers. The activities during this period will teach you about: different jobs, how to write a resume and do interviews in English, and other topics to assist Kinki University students trying to find a job.

Also, we will have guest speakers introducing various fields of work.

This is a great opportunity for you all to speak and ask questions directly to professionals doing your dream job. Please do not forget to check this blog again for all the details before the events.

Halloween will be our theme from October 18th to the 27th. On Friday, October 21st, we will hold our annual Halloween Costume Contest. We encourage everyone to be creative when making or buying their costumes. There will be prizes for the best ones!

Halloween may not be very popular in Japan, but we all love it here at E-cube!

Open to the public Summer 2011

みなさんこんにちは。　ただいま近畿大学英語村は一般公開をしています。

普段は近畿大学生と教職員のみの利用ですが、一般公開期間中は毎日高校生以上から80代の方々が英語村にお越しです。皆さんもこの機会に英語で”チャット”してみませんか？

月曜日から金曜日の午前10時から午後4時、アクティビティーは午後1時からの開催です。

Kinki University E³ is now open to the public. We are open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. We have many activities too. For example, tomorrow you can enjoy delicious chocolate fondue! Please come along and enjoy chatting in English with us!!
