Hello, everyone!
We had a speech contest on October 10th. This
year, we had six participants, and they made a speech for five minutes each.
The title of the contest was "The best way to understand America is…"
It was very difficult to choose because they were all very good. However,
Daisuke Furukawa from the law department got first place. He told us the best
way to understand America is power. His speech was full of confidence and persuasive.
Second place was Keiko Maeda from the economics department, and third place was
Arisu Maki from the literature, arts and cultural studies department. We appreciate
all students who joined the contest and congratulations to Daisuke, Keiko, and
Arisu! We hope lots of you will join the speech contest next year again!
